The OpenAI API

The OpenAI API can be applied to virtually any task that involves understanding or generating natural language, code or images. We offer a spectrum of models with different levels of power suitable for different tasks, as well as the ability to fine-tune your own custom models.


We use ChatGPT to summarise the results of a user’s search process and image creation. We also use tools including ChatGPT to facilitate customer service by recapping call centre conversations.

First, together with the Microsoft FastTrack team, we are committed to ensuring that AI systems are developed responsibly, that they work as intended, and are used in ways that people can trust.

Second, we use technical protections such as input and output content filtering. Third, we use process and policy protections that range from abuse reporting systems to service-level agreements.

Examples of use

When searching, the API summarises the content across documents and social media posts.

It helps facilitate search reviews for a specific product or service.

It provides sophisticated data through information discovery and knowledge mining.

It suggests those features and functions that create the desired results in the easiest way possible.
