We run everything on Microsoft Azure Cloud Service

AI-powered innovation – accelerated with one of the world’s largest cloud platforms.

Choosing Azure was a strategic choice as it has positioned us to become more innovative and resilient, and to adapt more quickly to evolving markets – with expert help, guidance and tools from the Azure FastTrack Team. Along with the fact that we are able to do more – with less cost, less disruption and less risk.

More than 95 per cent of the Fortune 500 companies trust Microsoft Azure with their business.

The Microsoft global area network (WAN) connects hundreds of data centres around the world.

Microsoft Azure has multi-layered security across physical data centres, infrastructure and operations.

One of the reasons we opted for an Azure infrastructure is because its global capacity comprises more than 200 physical data centres distributed across 35 countries and more than 160 locations worldwide. Another important factor in why we chose Azure when running a global infrastructure, is to ensure that we meet the regulatory compliance obligations and comply with all the requirements of benchmark standards.

The Azure Security Center (ASC) helps us streamline this process with the new regulatory compliance dashboard, which provides insight into our compliance posture for a set of supported standards and regulations, based on continuous assessments of our IT infrastructure.

Scalability is also of paramount importance, i.e. the ability of a system to handle an increased load. Azure Autoscale scales automatically and matches the demand to accommodate workload. These services scale out to ensure capacity during workload peaks and return to normal automatically when the peak drops.

DevOps for the entire development process

DevOps is the combination of cultural philosophies, practices and tools that enhances an organisation’s ability to deliver applications and services at high velocity; evolving and improving products at a faster pace than organisations using traditional software development and infrastructure management processes.
